Hmmm...This week I have learnt many things. Dr Fariza again briefs us with our assignments, group as well as individual. I felt a bit nervous as there many work still pending. Hope I can settle it on time. Dr did show us some example of cover book and article assignment that we need to do. Oh my gosh....when all this will end because I haven't started with my revision yet. Oh God please give me  an extra energy. Okay,back to my reflection, during the lesson, Dr Fariza taught us to insert CBox in our blog also to create link so that we are able to read our friend's blog. I have to agree that, all this are new experiences for me. I do hope that my blog will be on going thing because usually I don't continue doing something related to technologies. From what Dr Fariza had taught us, I do believe that all this are very important for future.    Dr also asks us to sign up in the Academia. The motif she asked us to do that because, in Academia is a place where professionals do upload their paper. It can be references for many people when they do their researchers. Once, we had done with our essay writing, she wants us to upload our paper in Academia. 

   Dr Fariza gave us some time to update our blog. She also had some time to go through the blocks and commented what are the things that we can improvised in our blog. According to Dr, there are many other things that we can include in our blog such as how we felt, discussion when writing script board for our video.

   On 2nd December my group had discussion on doing the script board. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to join them as I have another meeting to attend. I have told my group members and they said its okay and ask me to give my commitment when taking the video.  I hope everything will go smoothly so that all of us can complete our assignments on time and be able to focus on our exam. 

  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Fariza Khalid because she had taught and guide us many things.  Personally I felt that she is an awesome lecturer. She explained and showed us one by one on how and what to do. It gave me an encouragement to continue doing what I have started. Thank you Dr.  


     

     This week we were exposed on photography. Dr Fariza let us to take photos using our camera or phones. Before that, she gave us some tips when capturing photos. 
 1) Look your subject in the eye ( hold the camera at the person's eye level to unleash the power of those magnetic gazes and mesmerizing smiles.
2) Use a plain background.
3) Use flash outdoors.
4) Make in close.
5) move it from the middle.
6) Lock the focus.
7) Know your flash range.
8) Watch the light.
9) Take some vertical pictures.
10) Be a picture director.

      We were given about 20 minutes to go around the faculty area to take some pictures. We had some fun capturing pictures in different positions and the outcome of the picture was bad. I was not able to up load it here as the memory card spoiled. Thousand apologizes for that. 

     The class was as usual. In this week, lecturer taught us about video and photography. We been reminded to do our assignments which is to make a 3D model for ABM, cover page and up date the blog. Dr Fariza brief us on what and how to do. I must admit that there are a lot of assignments that I need to do as we do not have much time. 
     I realized that video can be a tool to conduct a lesson. Students are able to learn in a fun way when teacher uses video during the lesson.These are some of the videos on using DSL camera. This is one of the video that i have searched in youtube. 

In this week, i have learnt the differences between instructional technology and educational technology. We discovered that educational technology has bigger scope. During the lesson, we been exposed to traditional media.

In the end, we  also had some group activity where my group needed to get information on the usage of LCD. We did not gave that much of information compared to other group. LCD are useful in teaching especially when we are using video in our teaching. We are able to stop or pause the video when giving explanation to students. 

There are many advantages in technology that we are able to use in our teaching strategies. Student would concentrate better and teaching would be fun and lively for students. Perhaps, it will give benefits to both parties, students as well as teachers. 



 

First of all my sincere apology to Dr for delaying in my reflection. It's because i really don't know how to do a blog. I heard before about blog but not interested with that. As usual, i'm required to have a blog for this semester. I should thank Dr for teaching me new thing in this semester. I took some time by looking at you tube searching for weebly tutorial. I admit that i went through a hard time because i was having problem to edit the blog. I did ask some of my friend's help but as Dr know all of us has our own commitment so i didn't forced any of them to teach me. I took this as a challenge and tried myself. 


On the first week of the class i learnt on how to create a blog. I was little excited when knowing that i would have my own blog but at the same time i wondered how am i going to do that. Dr taught us creating a blog using weebly and what are the elements that we are supposed to have in our blog. Thank God, seeing some of my friends when they are editing their blog, i learnt from them also from the youtube. This is the youtube link
